The PPCG was founded Spring of 2010 by a collection of Millwood WA area residents and businesses.  Inland Empire Paper (IEP)  and Millwood Community Presbyterian Church (MCPC) played the key sponsorship and organizational roles that enabled the garden to begin.  The others, listed below, gave generously to the garden when they were asked for donations.

IEP is donating the property to the garden. IEP saw and continues to see this project as a positive way to enhance the overall appearance of the community.

Craig Goodwin of Millwood Community Presbyterian Church (MCPC) was one of the original garden visionaries.  The church was the garden’s sponsor until 2019.  Thank you MCPC.

IFG donated a full pallet of 8 x 14 ft boards that made almost 60 garden plots.

Wittkopf donated the soil that filled the first 36 plots made on start up day.  Wittkopf has both a North side and Valley location.

BARR-TECH donated the compost for the first 36 plots made on start up day.  We strongly recommend their compost, and it is available from several sources around the area.

DEWDROP Installed the watering system, and turns it on and off each season.

.

North West Seed and Pet donated seeds.
